Uninstall GPT for Word

To remove the GPT for Word add-in from Excel and Word on Windows (both desktop and web versions) and Mac (web version), follow these steps. For specific removal instructions on the Mac desktop app, visit Microsoft Office's support website.

1. From your document, select Add-ins in the Home tab.

   Note: If you're on a Mac, select Get Add-ins in the Insert tab.

   

2. Click More Add-ins.

   

   The Office Add-ins pop-up opens.

3. In the MY ADD-INS tab, hover over GPT for Excel Word and click on the Options menu.

   

4. Select Remove.

   

   A pop-up appears.

5. Click Remove to confirm.

The GPT for Word add-in is removed from Microsoft Word and Excel. If you ever need to use the add-in again, you can follow the installation process at any time.
